Cleaning and DIY at Life Centre for FFLM
Sat 15 December, 2018
Life Centre, Vauxhall Street, St Helier
Although we serve our Island in various ways during the course of the year we always try to bless our community even more at Christmas. Historically we have held events in the Royal square and at Freedom Centre welcoming people in and offering drinks, food and entertainment followed by a time of worship.
This year we are doing things slightly differently. Those in some life groups are doing a multitude of different things to bless their local community but there is also another option of partnering up with a couple of other local organisations and helping them with what they are doing.
If you would like to help at any of these then please let us know or sign up at the Connect Point on Sunday.
There is an opportunity to help out at Freedom For Life Ministries Centre in Vauxhall Street, St. Helier. There are a few practical type jobs that need doing, such as touching up small areas of paint, putting up shelves, cleaning cupboards and similar. This will happen on Saturday 15th December.
We will meet at 9am for bacon rolls, have an opportunity to pray for Freedom For Life Ministries and all the work they are involved with and then get on with the jobs needed. You can commit to as much or as little time as you want. Please let me know if you can help here or sign up at the Connect Point.
You may also want to consider making a donation alongside your normal giving this Christmas to help out with the amazing work this small charity carries out with inmates at La Moye and then on their release, helping them to reintegrate into the community and then supporting them on a regular basis. More information can be found on their website www.freedomforlife.org.uk
Please pray and consider where you would be best placed to serve during this festive time and then let us know.
